Earth Healing

A Moment in Time – photo by Wild Thing

Dense fog
Crows overhead
Break the silence
One leaf falls
Earth’s poetry
Awaits
To heal a soul

You

Thinking of You – photos by Wild Thing

I choose you.
And I’ll choose you,
Over and over

Without pause,
Without doubt,

In a heartbeat.

I’ll keep
Choosing you.

Throughout
The millennia

It will always be

You.

Save

Solitude

DSCN3545blusmr

Solitude . . .
For it’s there
That peace
Is found

Where weary body
Can find rest
Nourishment
Healing
From daily strife

For the mind
To explore
Uninterrupted
Its thirst
For knowledge

Where a soul
May seek the mysteries
Of the universe
And its
Higher purpose
On this plane

Where self
Can meet true self
Accepting … loving

Memories Revisited – photo by Wild Thing

She pulled up in
our old green buick
Laid on the horn
Yelled, “Hey!
Let’s go lose ourselves
For a day … maybe a week
Hell, forever baby!”

Horn blasts again
I look out
There she sits
Topless
Behind the wheel
Daisy in her hair

For My Mother

In Perfect Light – photo by Wild Thing

*Another collaboration of Cletis L Stump's
poetry and one of my photos*

she wasn't weak
hell no
not by a long shot
strength flowed from
her hands
hands that pushed
death from the room
from the eyes
of a dying son
