No Regrets – photo by Wild Thing
They say
The saddest words
Are “It might
Have been.”
What does
That bring but
Heartache and regret
It only makes
Returning
Harder to face
Why question Fate
And tempt
Her fickle temper
She could make
You regret asking
What might have been

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. right? One who has no regrets is indeed fortunate. I can’t say that includes me. But I do my best to compensate, and even to undo what went wrong. Sometimes Plan B is the better plan anyway…B is for Better. Ever hopeful.
My regrets come immediately after I do it…but then I go my merry way and soon I find I have none at all … it either worked or didn’t but the outcome is always interesting! Hahahahaha
Always analyzing here…have to know what went wrong and avoid the same mistake twice…and hope the analysis was correct, of course. 😛
true … am working on a poem right now about self introspection … we’ll see if it ever sees the light of day! ;)))
