He Said …

511 (53)
Wildflower Fields

An imaginary number
When squared
Gives
A negative result

Let’s try …

Daisy chained hair
Barefoot free
Summer sun warm
Butterflies drifting
On soft breezes

Small gurgling brook
Knee deep cool
Frogs plopping
Oak spreads
For shady resting

Picking up rocks
Two in a pocket
Ancient energy
Whispering to one
As a gift to Oak

Wildflower field
Yellow purple white
Bees buzzing busy
Bouquet gathered
Carefully for Mom

Striped gopher
Scurries by quick
Wildflowers dropped
Game of chase
Safe at home

School girl escape
